Let's Visit The Raptor Trust in Millington, NJ

Are you looking for a fun outdoor day trip in New Jersey? We love, love LOVE  taking mini day trips around here, especially ones that don't cost us much (or anything at all).  One of our favorite places to visit (which is often overlooked, in my opinion) is The Raptor Trust in Millington, NJ.  It is no secret that I am a certified 'bird nerd.'  I can tell you what kind of bird is nearby just from hearing its song (who knew, right?).  I keep binoculars on my kitchen table in case a bird watching moment appears.  I have a hummingbird feeder and I actually cook the nectar myself (well, it's just sugar and water, but I cook it with love!).  I could go on and on, but I don't want you to start getting frightened about how weird I am.  Anyway...

A Review of Lost River Caverns, PA

Friday, July 19, 2019
Lost River Caverns in Hellertown, Pennsylvania has always been a point of interest for me. I would drive by the billboards on Rt. 78 and wonder, 'What is that place like?'  I asked friends for advice, searched online for reviews, and got such a mish-mosh of responses (from, 'It's cheesy and old!' to, 'It's cool!') that I figured I had to see for myself.

Now there are fun ways to bring that nostalgia back, like the Scratch and Sniff Sticker Club from Everything Smells! Read on to learn more, and for a special discount code, too!

Medieval Times Dinner and Tournament Review: Lyndhurst, New Jersey

Wednesday, July 10, 2019
I was looking for a review of Medieval Times ages ago and could not find the information I needed. I wanted an honest opinion on what age group this show was for, what it entailed, and how the food was (that's just how I am, you know?). And since I didn't find exactly what I was looking for out there, I decided to see the show for myself and bring you my very own review (because I know I can't be the only one out there wondering what Medieval Times is all about!). This was not written as a sponsored post, but after I published it, I was invited back by the folks at Medieval Times to see their show again, this time featuring their queen (gasp!)So if you haven't seen the show in a while, you MUST go see the queen!
