Branchburg Sports Complex Basketball Camp for Girls

Branchburg Sports Complex (one of our favorite places- you can read more about them here) just added a new camp to their summer line-up. This one is for girls ages 4th grade through high school, and features women's professional basketball player, Erica Balman! Read on for details and sign-up info.

"We are excited to announce that Branchburg Sports Complex in association with Larry Marshall Sports will be offering a Girls Basketball Camp featuring American Professional basketball player Erica Balman.  Camp will be held on Monday, August 5th, Tuesday, August 6th and Wednesday, August 7th from 1:00pm to 4:00pm for 4th grade – High School.  This camp will offer the girls an opportunity to participate in three point and free throw shooting competitions as well as work on skills & drills. Players of every skill level will learn all aspects of the game in a fun and exciting environment. Players will be separated by age and skill level. The camp will also feature special appearances by various professional athletes."

Erica Balman is an American professional basketball player for the German Women's National Basketball Team Deutscher Basketball Bund.  Erica, a 6-foot-5 center, played at Marcellus (N.Y.) High School where she was named a three-star recruit with an 88 grade by ESPN.com and ranked her the No. 65 recruit in the United States at the center position. She earned Second Team All-Onondaga during her High School Season, leading the Mustangs to a second place finish in the league.  She is a recent graduate of Monmouth University where she was a member of the Women’s Basketball Team.

In case you didn't know, Branchburg Sports Complex is New Jersey’s premiere sports and family entertainment center located off Route 22 and Readington Road in Branchburg, NJ. Featuring 78,000 square feet of sports and activities. They offer three indoor turf fields, four batting cages, an arcade with redemption center, a 9,000 square foot, multi-level, state-of-the-art laser tag arena, multi-level PlayMaze and seasonal Basketball/Volleyball Courts.
