Hersheypark Summer 2019 Printable Bucket List: 14 Things You Need to Try Before Summer Ends

Tuesday, July 16, 2019
Whether you've visited Hersheypark before or not, I have a fun way for you to enjoy your summer at the Sweetest Place on Earth! Scroll down for a free printable Hersheypark Summer Bucket List, which lists 14 fun things you should try at Hersheypark before summer ends.

Disclosure: I was chosen to be a part of the Hershey Sweetest Families Panel, which means I am sometimes provided with passes to Hershey events, programs and activities in order to share them with you. Please check out all of my Hershey posts on my Hershey Insider Page!

If you're planning a visit to Hersheypark this summer, here's a fun way for you to make sure you get the most out of your visit. I've picked out 14 things you should try during your trip, and I've described them all below. During your visit, be sure to bring along my printable Bucket List, or screen shot it and save it to your phone for an easy way to keep track of your adventures! Have a sweet time!

1. Ride Reese's Cupfusion

This is a given! Be sure to check out Hersheypark's newest ride, Reese's Cupfusion! You can read all about it here. It's their newest interactive gaming ride, and features the most targets of any ride in the world, as well as six different ways to play. Help Commander Cup defeat Mint the Merciless and protect the world's supply of Reese's Peanut Butter Cups!

2. Try Any Flavor BBLz Creation

You can find BBLz by Hershey Triple Towers in Kissing Tower Hill.  BBLz is a one-of-a-kind beverage experience at Hersheypark! BBLz features unique flavor and ingredient combinations  blended by trained BBLz makers who add both bubbles and fun. With flavors like the MelonBaller and WhipScream Sundae, you can't go wrong. Plus, they're adorable.

3. Win ONE Arcade Prize

There are so many arcade games to choose from in Hersheypark (you can find a description of them here), so it's pretty easy to win a prize! Jersey Momma tip: if you have a big family, play the Balloon Race. You need at least two players to play and a big family means that one of you is pretty much guaranteed to win because you're playing against each other. 😉

4. Ride The Carrousel

Did you know that Hersheypark's gorgeous Carrousel is 100 years old? The beautiful carousel is a focal point at the park. No trip is complete without a ride on these nostalgic horses!

5. See the Big Top Dreams Show

Big Top Dreams is a new addition to Hersheypark's entertainment line-up this year. This is a one-of-a-kind musical adventure, giving you a behind-the-scenes glimpse at the circus! For more info about the show, check out this post by Jessica, my fellow Sweetest Families panelist from Mommy University.

6. Visit ONE Food Truck

There are plenty of food trucks to visit throughout Hersheypark, and a quick and easy way to grab lunch or a snack! Check out the Chick-fil-A food truck, Nathan's, the Kosher food truck, or even the Dunkin cart for a quick breakfast!

7. Try Any Flavor King Shake

Do I really need to say anything about this? The picture speaks for itself, doesn't it? You can find these amazing shakes at Simply Chocolate, near Reese's Cupfusion and the bumper cars. They come in three incredible flavors, and they're the stuff that dreams are made of.

8. Ride the Dry Gulch Railroad

The Dry Gulch Railroad is the perfect place to cool off and relax. It takes you through a shady path at a leisurely pace, and it's a great spot for some calm family photos. Plus, your whole family can ride!

9. Take a Selfie with Any Character

Take a selfie (or any photo, really) with your favorite park character! We loved this new gumdrop guy, located by Reese's Cupfusion. Ain't he cute?

10. See the Our Friends from the Sea Show

Did you know that you can see an awesome show featuring adorable sea lions and harbor seals at Hersheypark? It's called Our Friends from the Sea! For an added bonus, you can feed the sea lions and seals or pose for photos with them (extra fee required, some restrictions apply).

11. Visit the Prairie Dogs in ZooAmerica

Admission to ZooAmerica is included with your paid Hersheypark ticket, so swing by the zoo and check out some of their fun animals! Our favorite is the prairie dog. If you catch them at the right time of day, you can see them hard at work on their burrows or calling to one another.

12. Ride the Monorail or Ferris Wheel

I find the monorail and the ferris wheel equally relaxing. Both offer beautiful views of the park and a chance to get off your feet for a bit. But some kids are not fans of the ferris wheel height, so if that's the case, keep it simple on the monorail!

13. Ride the Lazy River Intercoastal Waterway

I couldn't leave out the water rides! A ticket to Hersheypark enables you to ride all of their rides, including those in the awesome Boardwalk section. The Intercoastal Waterway is a relaxing way to spend a hot afternoon. Grab a tube and start drifting!

14. "Other"

I couldn't create a Bucket List without allowing you to fill in your own option! Use this space to add your own Hersheypark summer goal! Maybe you want to make the leaderboard at Reese's Cupfusion. Maybe you finally want to conquer Fahrenheit. Or maybe you just want one of those amazing funnel cakes! Whatever your goal is, you decide!
