The LEGO Americana Roadshow in Bridgewater, NJ!

The LEGO Americana Roadshow visited the Bridgewater Commons Mall in Bridgewater, New Jersey! Large scale LEGO models were on display, and guests could participate in free building activities. This all took place in 2016, and you cam scroll below to see what the show was like.

What was the LEGO Americana Roadshow?

Here are some details about  The LEGO Americana Roadshow, straight from their press release:

"Bridgewater Commons Mall [hosted] THE LEGO® Americana Roadshow, a highly visual, educational and free traveling installation of larger than life LEGO® replicas of some of our nation’s most beloved landmarks.

Ten one-of-a-kind, large scale models of American Landmarks made completely out of LEGO® bricks by LEGO® Master Builders – including the U.S. Capitol Building, White House, Supreme Court, Washington Monument, Jefferson Memorial, Lincoln Memorial, Statue of Liberty, Independence Hall, the Liberty Bell and Old North Church – take over Bridgewater Commons and entertain customers with stunning visuals and fun facts."

Kids [could] also make and take home their own mini version of a Lego Independence Hall for free!* (*restrictions apply- see their website for more information and exact dates for the make and take). 

Activities and other visuals included:
  • LEGO brick play area: Children of all ages built whatever their imaginations dreamed up
  • LEGO building activity: Attendees built their LEGO® Americana Roadshow inspired models and took it home with them
  • LEGO scavenger hunt: Attendees collected a special LEGO® prize after completing the LEGO® Americana Roadshow scavenger hunt.
Teachers could download lesson plan ideas from the event website, too!

The LEGO Americana Roadshow was held at the Bridgewater Commons Mall in Bridgewater, New Jersey.

When was the LEGO Americana Roadshow?

The show ran Saturday, April 2nd through Sunday, April 17, 2016, and was spread throughout the mall for guests to view (you can view a map of the display locations here).

Exhibition hours were: Monday-Saturday 10am-9pm
                               Sunday 11am-6pm
