About Dino Ranch
Filled with adventure and life-long friendships, the preschool series 'Dino Ranch' made its U.S. debut on January 18, 2021 on Disney Junior and DisneyNOW. The animated series, produced by Industrial Brothers and Boat Rocker Studios, follows the Cassidy family as they tackle life in a fantastical, “pre-westoric” setting where dinosaurs roam. Dino Ranch – the ultimate playground – is a working farm and dinosaur sanctuary. It’s home to the tight knit Cassidy family, Ma (Jane) and Pa (Bo) with their adopted kids Jon, 10, the leader and ‘dino-whisperer,’ a fast-talking, wide-eyed young cowboy who fancies himself the fastest lasso in the west; super-caring Min, 8, a young dino doctor in-training; and Miguel, 6, a smart, deep thinking, soft-spoken inventor with big ideas. The Jersey Momma's Review of Dino Ranch
Disney Junior has always been known for quality programming with diverse characters and themes, so you shouldn't be surprised that Dino Ranch follows suit! I loved the whole concept of it right from the start. Preschoolers will adore the bright colors and the adorable dinosaurs, as well as the idea that 'kids can help, too!' The kids on this dino ranch know how to problem solve and lend a hand. Plus, how cool is it that this is a dinosaur ranch?! What a cute idea, right? And HUGE KUDOS to Disney Junior for their diversity and for featuring ground-breaking new characters. The Cassidy family reminds kids that families come in all shapes, sizes, colors, and backgrounds. I give Dino Ranch two enthusiastic thumbs up and I encourage you to add it to your preschool line-up!
