ShowKids Invitational Theatre Presents 42nd Street, May 4th-12th

If you're looking to see a great local show and support a fantastic non-profit organization at the same time, then check out 42nd Street, coming this May to Voorhees High School in New Jersey!


Come along and listen to the lullaby of Broadway right in Hunterdon County! 42nd Street, a tap dance specular and musical will be presented by ShowKids Invitational Theatre in the Voorhees High School auditorium. 42nd Street celebrates Broadway, Times Square and the magic of show biz with wit, humor and pizzazz.


Featuring a talented cast of young local performers along with a few veterans, this production showcases the dedication of the artists involved with SKIT, now in its 38th season and fresh from its recent nomination for Outstanding Musical in New Jersey. With vibrant costumes, stunning sets, and energetic choreography, 42nd Street promises to be a visually captivating and entertaining experience.

Peggy (Emma Nasto) and Julian Marsh (Kaden Brightwell) and the rest of the Cast of 42nd Street rejoice as they sing, “The Lullaby of Broadway” 

SKIT’s rendition of the former Broadway blockbuster will be held the weekends of May 4th-5th and May 11th-12th, with shows at 2 and 7:30 p.m. Saturdays along with 2 p.m. Sunday matinees. Tickets can be purchased online at www.showkids.org or at the door prior to each performance.

And don't forget, SKIT is a not-for-profit community theatre serving Hunterdon County and the surrounding area. Come on out and support them!
