It's the most wonderful time of the year! Seriously, though, it is wonderful and you shouldn't be stressing about gifts. Every year I like to gather gift ideas that are suitable for all ages, so check out these cool finds from all around the web, and don't sweat the small stuff!

Tee Turtle Socks

I fell in love with the entire Tee Turtle table at the New Jersey Comic Expo. They make a variety of adorable t-shirts and socks that can generate a smile from anyone. I wound up purchasing three pairs, as you can see in some of my glorious modeling shots below. Tee Turtle socks cost about $10 a pair and range from grumpy polar bears to clinging sloths. I opted for the 'otter half' socks and the 'space cat' socks for these photos. They make great stocking stuffers, right?

Clark Little Photography Calendars

Clark Little Photography is one of my favorite pages to follow on Facebook. He posts the most beautiful, stunning photos of Hawaii. He has two calendars available on Amazon, and both are high quality and unique. The Wave Calendar and the Hawaiian Turtle and Ocean calendars are $15.00 each. Wouldn't you love to stare at pictures of Hawaii each month?

Callie's Charleston Biscuits

Do you have a food lover in your life? There are some awesome ideas for food gifts out there (I can personally attest to many of them). I met the fabulous folks at Callie's Charleston Biscuits at the 2016 Fancy Food Show in New York, and I can't say enough good things about them! They have small biscuit shops in the south and they also sell their products in supermarkets around the country. But I love the idea of sending their biscuits and food as gifts. They come packaged so beautifully and they're both memorable and delicious. Check out my post to see what they have to offer and how their gifts arrive.

Dr. Seuss Coloring Books and More

I think adult coloring books make terrific gifts, even if you've never colored (as an adult) before. Kids who love to color also seem to appreciate having an adult sit with them and color in their special book, too. You can read about my favorite adult coloring books here, but this year's gift pick is the Dr. Seuss Coloring Book, available on Amazon. I think it appeals to the kid in all of us, and if you have children, you can even get matching books to color from! I purchased this as a gift for someone in my family so I know it has thick pages and is high quality for serious colorers (is that a word?).

And if you're looking for a book for kids to match, check out the classic My Book About Me by Dr. Seuss and Roy McKie. I had this book as a child and I LOVED filling it out (it's full color and kids can fill in the blanks to tell their eye color, hair color, height, facts about their home and favorite things, etc.). My sister and I both had one and we still have them to this day.

Card Games

Kick Family Game Nights up a notch with these awesome card games. Cute packaging and eye catching characters make them great stocking stuffers for both adults and kids, too.  Sushi Go! is great for strategic thinking (and it's for up to 5 players).

The Minecraft Card Game from Mattel is also a good gift idea for gamers! Get them away from the screen for a while with this crafting game. Mine! Craft! Reserve! Win! (that's the game motto).

Crayola Ultra Smart Case

At first glance the Crayola Ultra Smart Case might not look like much, but this compact case actually holds a lot of stuff! It contains a combination of crayons, markers, Pipsqueaks, colored pencils and even paper. It's about the size of a laptop case and folds up into this awesome portable package. I like the idea that you can refill it with new supplies or even your own supplies if you exhaust the ones they give you.

Stella and Dot Jewelry

You might have friends who sell Stella and Dot jewelry, or maybe you've seen them on TV or online. But one thing you might not know is that their pieces are such great quality and they make perfect gifts for style lovers. Their bracelets are my particular favorite, since they are unique and come in adorable little gift boxes (all of their jewelry come nicely packaged like this). You can purchase Stella and Dot through this stylist link, and if the bracelets are not for you, then check out some of their earrings (particularly the sparkle studs- you can't beat $19).

  2. The food you featured looks so delicious! I would love that. Was attending an expo a good experience? Was it helpful as a blogger, or more geared towards journalists?

    1. Yes, yes, yes, Theresa!! The expo was amazing and I highly recommend visiting as a blogger. If you tell the vendors who you are and why you are attending, that's when you get the best response. Some were not interested in talking to bloggers, and that was okay, too, there were so many others who were! Most of them want to get the word out about their products and they are happy to work with you and talk to you about what they do.
