Leaf-Peeping Experience

Available September 15th through October 15th

Nestled in the primo leaf-peeping Poconos – 127 species of indigenous trees, plants and shrubs –Camelback Resort and its surroundings burst alive with color for seasonal getaways and retreats. The fabulous fall foliage Leaf-Peeping experience includes luxuriously comfortable accommodations, a self-guided hiking map to hit all the best spots along Camelback Mountain and Big Pocono State Park, and boxed snacks to take on the hike. It also includes mountain eye-candy of glorious yellows, greens, oranges, reds and golds, the scents of fresh, crisp mountain air and the relaxing feeling of having escaped far away from everyday routine, demands and stresses.

Halloween-Themed Monster Coaster

Opens September 25th, runs every Friday, Saturday and Sunday through Halloween

It’s a totally unique experience to ride Camelback Mountain’s exciting Halloween-inspired Monster Coaster – complete with spooky creatures and night lighting on this thrilling excursion. Family activities such as magic shows and pumpkin carvings will be available at Adventure Base Camp, along with food and fall-themed beverages for purchase.

Pricing: Monster Coaster starts at $25 per person.

Ultimate Terrain Vehicle (UTV) Fall Foliage Tours

Mid-September through Halloween  

Created with strategic fall foliage stops, ultimate terrain vehicles are equipped with super power and traction, delivering tons of fun and excitement, while two to four adventurers take in the breathtaking autumn Pocono mountain views and trail area. The trail tour is guided by a Camelback Adventure staff member.

Limited availability and early booking recommended. The tours are one hour. There is a mandatory 30-minute training session, and drivers must be 18+ years old with a valid driver’s license.

Fall Tubing

Mid-September through Halloween

Camelback Adventures thrills fans of tubing with its tubing park - without the snow - offering an exhilarating lightning-fast path, and its Magic Carpet makes it easy and desirable to ride over and over again. It’s located at Adventure Basecamp next to Sunbowl Lift.

Duration is one-hour session for single rider only (weight limit of 250 pounds per rider), and closed toe shoes are required.

Adventure Zone Adventures

Starting September 7th through Halloween

Located near Fall Tubing, Adventure Zone offers plenty of outdoor fresh air challenges including the Climbing Wall, allowing climbers to choose their own adventures by selecting among three different types of walls and creating special individualized climbs and the Euro Bungee experience for arial flipping, tricking or just plain major jumping.

Climbers and jumpers redeem tickets at Adventure Basecamp then ride Sunbowl Lift to Adventure Zone. Two climbs per session. Jumps take four minutes. Must be six or older and at least 40” tall with weight between 40 to 250 pounds to participate. Flyers under 18 must be accompanied by a participating adult, and all participants are required to wear closed toe shoes.

Camelback Cozy Campfires and S’mores

All ages love sitting around comfy private fire-pits, lounging on Adirondack chairs, taking in colorful mountain views and roasting favorite gooey s’mores. Campfires take place outside Trail’s End Pub & Grille, and quick bites, seasonal cocktails, craft brews and local cider are available.

Price starts at $100 to reserve a private campfire pit.

Halloween Family Fun

In addition to the many outdoor adventures, Camelback offers lots of family fun throughout Autumn including an indoor Treat Trail for kids to trick-or-treat throughout the month of October; Halloween-themed balloon twisting and donut decorating; magic shows and movie nights; and much more.
