Blossom Water : A Little Taste of Summer in a Bottle

The weather is pretty dreary here in New Jersey today, and I'm missing those long, sweet days of summer. So I thought I'd share a little sunshine with you, in the form of an awesome new drink that I first heard of at The Fancy Food Show in New York. It's called Blossom Water, and it's actually pure water infused with natural fruit and flower essences. Yes, flowers!!

The kind people at Blossom Water sent me a box of their drinks to try. They sent me full sizes of their flavors grapefruit lilac, lemon rose, plum jasmine, and pomegranate geranium. They looked delicious, with their light colors and fruity labels. They recommended I try them cold, so into the fridge they went.

I have to admit, I was a little nervous to try them! I just had a fear that the flavors were going to be overly flowery or something, or that I would get some kind of weird allergy from them, since I have an allergy to certain pollens. Nothing could have been further from the truth!

First, let me tell you some cool things about Blossom Water. Here are some benefits to drinking them:

  • caffeine free
  • kosher
  • no artificial flavors or colors
  • no artificial sweeteners
  • no preservatives
  • gluten-free
  • sodium free
  • non-GMO
  • 100% natural
  • lightly sweetened

They are low in calories and contain natural ingredients that you can totally understand when you read the label. They are also made with flower essences, which you can read all about here, on Blossom Water's website. The story of how the drink came to be is really interesting. I love the natural concept, and the innovative aspect of it.

My favorite was the plum jasmine, which had such a nice, light fruity flavor with just a tiny touch of jasmine essence behind it. I can't even explain what it really tastes like, but 'fresh' is the best word that comes to mind.

You might have seen me post some pictures on Instagram of the lemon rose flavor, too, which again has such a nice, refreshing flavor. I almost feel like you could serve them at a tea party, instead of tea!

If you're wondering where to find these pretty little drinks, you can use their store locator. I know my local Wegman's carries them.  You can also buy them right online!

Have you tried Blossom Water? Which is your favorite? Feel free to let me know your thoughts in the comment section below!

Be sure to check out my other favorites from The Fancy Food Show! I know, I know, I can't stop talking about it. But I really love good food, and I love you, too, so this is why I share with you. xoxox

Disclaimer: This is not a sponsored post - no one's paying me to tell you about Blossom Water. I just like sharing awesome new products with you, and Blossom Water was kind enough to send me some free bottles to test out. I wouldn't try to get you to taste something icky, trust me!
